With over 5 million YouTube views and a rapidly growing fan base, The Tide are about to make massive waves worldwide as they release ‘Click My Fingers’ via Virgin EMI Records on Friday 12th August 2016.
Produced by Will Sims, ‘Click My Fingers’ is a pop song of epic proportions. Beginning with passionate vocals over an acoustic guitar, the track escalates to an explosive chorus infused with drum and bass as the band declare ‘whatever you go through don’t be scared, whatever you go through I’ll be there’.
The band sent fans in to a frenzy after announcing the release of ‘Click My Fingers’. From the UK to the Philippines, #ClickMyFingers immediately became a trending topic on Twitter around the globe.
Earlier this year, the band released their first record ‘Young Love’ for free as a thank you to fans for all of their support. The song was downloaded so much in the first hour that their website came to a grinding halt due to overwhelming demand. Ahead of the release, #YoungLove trended on Twitter globally and continued to trend when the video launched.
Drew Dirksen, Levi Jones, Austin Corini and Nate Parker formed as The Tide in 2015 after discovering each other on YouTube.
They are signed to Virgin EMI via The Vamps who they have been supporting on their global ‘Wake Up World Tour’. After the runaway success of their UK fan fests that sold out in 3 minutes the band have announced their first 12 date headline UK shows.
With dates already selling out, the ‘Click My Fingers Tour’ kicks off in August and reaches London’s prestigious Shepherd’s Bush Empire in September.
Prepare to be swept away.
