A No.2 album in the UK, 'My 21st Century Blues' was decade in the making and RAYE's debut album as an independent artist. On her own terms RAYE gave space for listeners who have faced and overcome adversity, with anthems for women in the industry that recounted her own painful experiences with sexual abuse, rape, body dysmorphia, addiction, misogyny, and even climate change.  The album was nominated for 'Best Independent Album' at the AIM Independent Music Awards and was one of only 12 albums selected as a finalist for the 2023 'Mercury Music Prize'.

RAYE is currently Top 3 in the Official UK Singles Chart with 'Prada'. A collab with Casso and D Block Europe, the track is exhilarating new take on the 2020 hit single 'Ferrari Horses'. She has also recorded the beautiful theme song to the new series of BBC's 'Planet Earth', 'Mother Nature', with Hans Zimmer and Bastille.

RAYE is still riding high from the continued success of her inescapable global smash 'Escapism.' featuring 070 Shake, which hit No.1 on the UK Official Singles Chart, is 2 x platinum in the UK, and is certified RIAA Platinum in the US and nine other territories with 1.05 billion cumulative streams clocked to date and 105 million views on the video. The track is the second biggest selling single of the year in the UK so far, and has earned RAYE her highest-peaking song on the Billboard  Hot 100 (#22). It won 'Best Social Trended Song' at The Global Awards, 'Best Contemporary Song' at the Ivor Novello Awards and 'Best Independent Track' at the AIM Independent Music Awards. The song also topped the viral music chart on TikTok boasting 110 billion views and was the No.1 Most Shazamed Pop Song in the U.S. for 8 consecutive weeks.

RAYE was recently shot for British Vogue and named one of the title's Top 25 women of the year in the 'Vogue 25' list. She also appeared at GQ Magazine's prestigious 'GQ Heroes' event performing both 'Oscar Winning Tears' and 'Escapism.' In the last year she has appeared on the cover of magazines such as GQ, Cosmopolitan, Wonderland, Bricks, Euphoria, Time Out and DIY, alongside a career-defining appearance on the NPR Tiny Desk concert series. Globally, RAYE’s season of television performances includes The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Later… with Jools Holland, and The Graham Norton Show, in addition t0 BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge. RAYE also featured in SKIMS recent Shapewear collection campaign alongside PinkPantheress, Ice Spice and Nessa Barrett, alongside international billboards for Spotify’s EQUAL campaign.

2023 has been and still is RAYE's most extensive year of touring yet. After wrapping a sold-out arena UK tour with Lewis Capaldi and a string of sold-out solo headline show including one at London's Roundhouse, RAYE returned to North America as the special guest supporting Kali Uchis and joined SZA’s 'S.O.S. Tour' for 13 shows throughout Europe and the UK. Her extraordinary debut at  Glastonbury won new fans across the globe, alongside Summer performances at Longitude (Dublin, Ireland), Mad Cool (Madrid, Spain), Life Is Beautiful (Las Vegas, Nevada), and All Things Go (Columbia, Maryland).

To close out 2023, RAYE is currently on a North American 26 date tour taking in Washington, New York City, Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta, Nashville and more before wrapping in Los Angeles. A second leg of solo headline shows covering the UK and Europe follows in November and December.

Fast cementing a legacy as an artist that can skip between genres at will – songs that flit between hip-hop, dance, and gospel and still keep their integrity – RAYE continues to own the pop game.
